This last week has flown by, much like the month of July. I can’t believe that it is almost over. Summer always flys by way to fast for me. You probably feel the same way too! But that doesn’t mean that there is a lack of things to do this week. There is still a lot that is going on all over the Front Range.  Check out our top five below and have a fantastic rest of your week!

1. Painting on the Patio in Greeley

The Tavern in Saint St. Michael’s Square is hosting this event. Painting parties have gained a lot more popularity in the last couple of years, and that’s for a reason… they are really fun. This session’s theme is focused on “Mariposa” and purchase of a ticket includes one drink of your choice and shared appetizers. Let your creativity shine!!!

  • Happening: Wednesday, July 20th
  • When: Check-in at 6:30 PM and painting starts at 7:00 PM
  • Where: The Tavern, 2918 67th Ave, Greeley, CO

2. Clear the Shelters in Fort Collins

I couldn’t pass up talking about this event! Honestly, if I could, I would bring home all of the animals! But instead, I will just have to share this event with you and hope that you have room for one or two more new family members.

  • Happening: Saturday, July 23rd
  • When: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Where: Larimer Humane Society, 6317 Kyle Ave, Ft Collins, CO

3. Build a Ballerina in Greeley

For those of you who don’t know the Farr Library hosts lots of community events throughout the year and this happens to be one that includes crafts, face painting, and the best part… CUPCAKES. Of course, this event is tailored to little ones, but ballerinas are pretty cool in general so it might be worth checking out with your own little ones.

  • Happening: Saturday, July 23rd
  • When: 11:30am-1:30pm or 2:00pm-4:00pm
  • Where: Farr Library, 1939 61st Ave, Greeley, CO

4. Concert at The Whisk(e)y in Fort Collins

If you are looking for something to kick off your weekend with, this concert is the perfect way to spend a Friday night! The Whisk(e)y is a low key trendy bar in the heart of downtown Fort Collins that offers hundreds of types of whiskeys and a really great live music venue. If you have never checked out the local bands that play here, I would definitely put it on your to-do list. This Friday the band Rawtune (a Foco local band) is playing.

  • Happening: Friday, July 22nd
  • When: 8:00 PM – 11:55 PM
  • Where: The Whiskey, 214 S College Ave, Ft Collins, CO

Click here to check out their facebook page for this concert!

5. Laid Back Tuesday Ride in Loveland

I just realized that there is never a shortage of bike related events going on in Northern Colorado. This one just happens to combine lazy Tuesday afternoons and laid back bike riding. This would be a good event to get outside and meet new people who also enjoy similar hobbies. Get out there and be social!

  • Happening: Tuesday, July 19th
  • When: Starts at 6:00 PM
  • Where: Centennial Park, 977 W 1st St, Loveland, CO

Well, that wraps this week’s top five events! I hope you all have a great week and can make it out to some of these events. It is always nice to get to interact with people in your community, and I hope these events allow you to do that.

See ya next week guys!
